Saljol Carbon Rollator Superlight: consistently focused on the essentials

A premium rollator that deliberately does without everything that isn't strictly necessary, and that is exactly what makes it so convincing: at 4.4 kg (seat height 54 cm) or 4.5 kg (seat height 62 cm), the Saljol Carbon Rollator Superlight is an especially light rollator in the premium segment. For anyone who values style and build quality but above all wants to lift, carry and push as little weight as possible in everyday life. In short: a super-light everyday companion.

The light version of the Carbon Rollator

The Superlight is the pared-down version of the Saljol Carbon Rollator. The Carbon is also available with full equipment: it comes from the factory with LED light, bell, cane holder, bag with magnetic lid, back strap and drag brake. The Superlight deliberately does without this scope and therefore weighs around 1 kg less:

• Just 4.4 instead of 5.3 kg (seat height 54 cm) or 4.5 instead of 5.5 kg (seat height 62 cm): noticeably lighter when lifting, carrying and storing
• Reduced equipment: open bag net with Fidlock magnetic fastening (up to 10 kg) instead of an extensive accessory package
• Drag brake and comfort back strap can be retrofitted if needed but are not part of the standard equipment
• In Rose Gold (seat height 54 and 62 cm) and Sterling Silver (seat height 62 cm only)

If low weight is what matters most to you and you don't need the extensive accessory package, the Superlight is a good choice. If you would rather have the equipment straight from the factory, the Saljol Carbon Rollator with full equipment is the right alternative. Where the weight was saved

Every component of the Superlight was systematically reviewed for lightweight construction, with the usual stable workmanship. This is especially noticeable when lifting it: for example when stowing it in the car trunk, getting on a bus or train or carrying it up steps.

Practical on the go

When folded, the rollator can be secured with the locking hook and, thanks to its compact dimensions (21 cm folded), takes up little storage space, whether in the car trunk, a train compartment or a corner of your home. In use, too, its low weight keeps it agile and pleasant to handle, for example on a shopping trip in town or on shorter walks.

Brakes

The Superlight has two hand brakes with a parking function: to brake, pull the brake levers upward; to lock them when sitting and taking a break, press them down until they click into place. If needed, it can be converted to a one-hand brake; Saljol provides the required brake cable free of charge. It is best to have the conversion carried out by a medical supply store.

Equipment in detail

The removable, open bag net with Fidlock magnetic fastening holds up to 10 kg and has room for groceries, drinks or personal items. With the Fidlock fastening, the magnets attract each other as they get close and find the right position on their own; a light pull upward is all it takes to remove it. The height-adjustable handles have an ergonomic cork-TPE coating that feels pleasant at different temperatures and makes functional components easy to recognize through their cork color. The soft wheels with a 20 cm diameter ensure quiet rolling. For visibility at dusk, the frame, handles, tipping aid and bag net are fitted with reflectors. A seat net gives you the opportunity to take short breaks.

Individually expandable

Accessories for Saljol's Carbon and Allround rollators also fit the Superlight, so the rollator can be tailored to your own needs. Whether a bell to be heard better in traffic, a cane holder for on the go or a practical transport bag: the accessory range covers the usual everyday wishes. If you would like more seating comfort, you can add the size-adjustable comfort back strap: it offers a wide support surface, keeps your view of the path clear through a large cut-out and has a reflective strip. A drag brake can also be retrofitted; with its adjustable rolling resistance it increases control on slight downhill slopes. Assembly and adjustment are best left to a specialist retailer.
